West London beatsmith Clearance lands on Trust with his wonderfully titled Wob Culture EP
Clearance is no novice to the production game, he has been hoining his craft for over 20 years, striving to bring simplicity, funk, and a sense of fun to his music, believing that even if you’re screwing up your face, you can still have your tongue in your cheek.
Wob Culture is a four track EP taking you on an intergalactic journey through a variety of sub soundscapes. As you've probably guessed already, big bass contortions & fx is the running theme so if you're of a senstive disposition & of a weak stomach, you best pass, cos this is a gut wrenching bassfest that will have you reaching for the khazi. If however you like nothing more than deep & tekkers, heavy bass driven rollers with more wob than a sumo belly, then find a speaker to hug when these drop.
Each track makes it's own statement, 'Cork' fails to contain itself, 'Diggin In Pockets' finds more than you bargained for, 'Run Up' catches you off guard & the title track 'Wob Culture' wraps everything up into a tidy package.
