Toronto based #NC17 has dedicated himself to drum & bass over the years, releasing on a plethora of labels and now hitting one of the defining faces of the underground, #Ram’s sister-label #ProgRAM. Alongside #DaveOwen, the New York producer bringing through more North American vibes, as well as the Coventry established #DJHybrid, #NC17 launches the next part of #ProgRAM’s musical arsenal. The A-side drives together all three artists, with ‘#ScrubCity’ detonating alongside a steppy plucked rhythm, before its reverse ‘#HistoryofViolence’ from #NC17 pushes through patches of wavering bass and crunching snares.
